Evaluate with purpose. Develop with intention.
A Team Evaluation & Development System for Coaches.
Every player brings a different combination of skills, awareness, effort, and potential to a team. Elite Diamond Press Player Evaluations gives youth baseball and softball coaches a practical system for capturing those differences—and turning observations into better roster, position, and development decisions.
Designed for evaluating up to 18 players, each player receives a dedicated two-page evaluation and assessment spread. Coaches can evaluate technical skills, game awareness, coachability, positional potential, strengths, and development opportunities while still having plenty of room for written observations.
The system then brings those individual evaluations together, helping coaches compare players at a glance, explore positional fit, build potential lineups, identify team development needs, and begin planning what comes next.
Inside the 50-page system:
- Evaluation & assessment spreads for up to 18 players
- Hitting, fielding, throwing & base running evaluations
- Game awareness & coachability assessment
- Strengths, development opportunities & coach's notes
- At-a-glance Roster Review
- Position Outlook & batting lineup planning
- Team development & practice-focus brainstorming
- Six field whiteboards for strategy and planning
- Two roster-planning sets for added flexibility
More than a rating sheet.
A practical system for understanding your players, building your roster, and planning what comes next.
